How to apply for Summer University
Applying for a Summer University requires some steps. With these instructions it’s a piece of cake.
- Membership: If you are not yet a member of AEGEE-Helsinki, please fill in the membership form and follow the instructions.
- Get your membership card. Once you have paid the membership fee, write an email to Outgoing responsible to get your membership card.
- Create user account at www.aegee.org. You must have a user account at aegee.org to make a SU application. CSN number on the membership card is needed for registration. (Link to Registration page )
- Choose your Summer Universities. You can apply to 1-3 Summer Universities. You have better chances of getting selected to one Summer University, if you choose more than one event.
- Fill in the application form. (Link to Application page )
- Update your application. After filling the form you can still change or update it. Make sure you write a good motivation letter, since that is the main and often the only criteria for selection.
- Selection results. Organizers of the Summer University (the AEGEE local) that received your application will inform you about final selection by 21.5.2009. They will send you further information and instructions.
If you are unable to travel: Inform the organizers as soon as possible, so that someone else can have your place.
