03.04.	Summer University Info Evening! Place: Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 21B (KY, Iso Puoli) Starts at: 18:00 More information Interested in applying for an AEGEE Summer University or taking part in organizing one? AEGEE-Helsinki will be hosting an SU info evening at KY (Iso Puoli) in Helsinki on the 4th of April. Come and stop by to hear up to date info and meet new people! This year AEGEE-Helsinki will be organizing a Travelling Summer University together with AEGEE-Tallinn. The planning stage is already well on its way. You can find more info about our own SU at http://www.aegee-helsinki.org/su2012/. A list of all the AEGEE Summer Universities held this year can be found here!
22.03.	Regional Training Course 2012! Starts at: 18:00 AEGEE-Helsinki will host a Regional Training Course between the 22nd and 25th of March. More info coming soonish. The Regional Training Course is the meeting place of neighbouring antennas. It's designed for the locals to train and motivate their members and strengthen the co-operation of nearby antennas. A weekend long training will combine the acquiring of skills and knowledge with a lot of fun and motivation to work in AEGEE. The RTC is based on the concept of the European School, the well-known high-quality training events in AEGEE. The concept comprises lectures during the day time and social activities in the evening.
15.03.	NWM Hamburg: Nordisch by Nature Place: Hamburg, Germany Starts at: 18:00 More information Moin, moin! AEGEE-Hamburg invites you to the first Spring Network Meeting 2012! If you've been here before we don't need to tell you how fantastic Hamburg is. If you've never been it is about time to find out! We admit that the “city that never sleeps” is located at another coast but you'll see that the same is true for our home during the city tours and going out at night of course. But there are more reasons why Hamburg is the perfect location for this Network Meeting: Its international atmosphere will be our inspiration when drafting our thematic activities for the next months. And being the media capital of Germany makes it the perfect place to discuss and develop new PR strategies for our locals. Participation fee: 30€ More info here!

Annual Meeting Place: Gustavus Rex, Leppäsuonkatu 11 Starts at: 18:00 The board of AEGEE-Helsinki ry is calling an annual meeting, which will be held at Gustavus Rex, Leppäsuonkatu 11, 20th of February 2012 starting at 18.00. All the members of AEGEE-Helsinki are warmly welcomed to join the meeting. The agenda of the meeting includes the following: Revising the statutes of AEGEE-Helsinki Presenting the financial statements, annual report and the auditors’ report Deciding on adoption of the financial statements and discharging from liability of the board and others accountable Verifying the activity plan, revenue and expenditure estimate and amount of the membership fee

Starts at: 18:00 More information Tulevana kesänä 16.7-30.7.2012 AEGEE-Helsinki järjestää kesäyliopiston yhdessä AEGEE-Tallinnan kanssa. Luvassa on arrrrrmotonta hauskanpitoa ainakin Helsingissä, Tallinnassa, Pärnussa ja Nurmijärven mökillä. Tervetuloa vuoden ensimmäiseen kesäyliopistokokoukseen keskiviikkona 25.1.2012 kello 18.00 alkaen Uudelle Ylioppilastalon Flora-kokoustilaan (Mannerheimintie 5 B, 3. kerros). Toistaiseksi seuraavista asioista on päätetty: * Aikataulu: Helsinki (16.7-20.7), Märkiön mökki (20.7-23.7) & Viron osuus (23.7-30.7) * Teema: Design (Helsingin designpääkaupunki-juhlavuotta mukaillen) * Osallistujat: Tapahtumaan valitaan 25 ulkomaista osallistujaa Ota osaa suunnittelutiimiimme, niin pääset koordinoimaan, ideoimaan ja järkkäämään ehkä parasta kesälomaa ikinä! 18.01.	Social Meeting goes pub crawling! Place: Cafe Mascot, Neljäs linja 2 Starts at: 18:00 More information Heads up! It's the time of the first Social Meeting this year. This time we'll explore the extraordinary atmosphere of Kallio district and its bars. We will meet on Wednesday 18.1. at the bar Mascot (street: Neljäs linja 2) where we'll stay 7-8 pm. After that it's time to get to know other pubs in Kallio and experience the other side of Helsinki. The Local Training Course is designed for locals that want to train and motivate their members. 13.10.	Show Your Colours International Sitsit Place: Pohjanhovi (Hietaniemenkatu 14 B) Starts at: 18:30 More information Show Your Colours International Sitsit 13.10.2011! AEGEE-Helsinki and ESN HYY Helsinki invite you to show your true colours at the International Sitsit on 13.10.2011 at Pohjanhovi! The Sitsit will start at 18.30, with dinner served at 19.00. Sitsit, a Finnish student tradition not to be missed revolves around food and drink, and singing and drinking. At the Sitsit, a three-course meal will be accompanied by wine and spirits, and traditional Finnish drinking songs sung enthusiastically if not always that skillfully... At the Show Your Colours International Sitsit the idea is to show everyone the colours of your national flag, by wearing them! The price is 25 euros, including the meal (three courses) and drinks (glass of wine plus two shots), as well as the afterparty. The afterparty will start at 23.00, and everyone is welcome! 26.05.	AEGEE-Copenhagen Network Meeting Place: Copenhage, Denmark Starts at: 15:00 More information AEGEE-Copenhagen organises a Network Meeting in May. The application fee is 40€ and 25 participants are taken. The program will include valuable workshops and work as a great opportunity to meet AEGEE members from other locals in the network. The event is open for all the members of AEGEE-Helsinki. The main focus for this NWM will be on strengthening the local – inspiring and motivating members, creating our own guidelines for organizing the best events, including, thinking about programme, fundraising and most importantly being flexible with that.
