New office of AEGEE-Helsinki in 2009

Starting from January 2009 AEGEE-Helsinki will have its office in the new students’ house in 4th floor of Mannerheimintie 5 B. We will share the room with two other organizations. Our new roommates are Tsemppi and HYRMY.

The Simple Life Travelling Summer University (TSU) in Finland started on Saturday 19th July when our 26 participants from all around Europe arrived at Turku. The goal of our event was that participants would experience the Finnish way of life close to the nature – bringing one peace and refreshing one’s body and soul – life at its simplest.

AEGEE is not on holiday! AEGEE-Helsinki and AEGEE-Turku are workign hard at the moment organizing Simple Life Traveling Summer University, which will take place in Turku, Fiskars, Nurmijärvi and Helsinki. The program also includes a day cruise to Tallinn.
The event starts in Turku on Saturday, 19 July and ends in Helsinki on Saturday, 2 August.

Go, go, Finland!
Who will win the Eurovision Song Contest 2008?
That will be decided on next Saturday, May 24. AEGEE-Helsinki welcomes you to watch the final broadcast at the official AEGEE studio in an international atmosphere.
You’re not satisfied with the official voting results? We will make our own poll! Vote for your own favourite, or try guess who will take the first place!
You will find the AEGEE studio at KY (Pohjoinen rautatiekatu 21B). Doors to the studio will open at 19:30. We will warm up for the broadcast with fun activities in the spirit of the song contest. You will also have chance to learn something about AEGEE.
The broadcast –live from Belgrade– starts at 22.
With the entrance fee 2 € you will get snacks and beverages to keep you going. AEGEE members enter free :)

Summer University -kurssit eivät ole akateemista opiskelua. Opintopisteiden sijaan saat kursseilta muita kokemuksia:
- Rentoa kesäelämää kaksi viikkoa
- Tutustut toiseen kulttuuriin ja elämäntapaan ikäistesi nuorten esittelemänä jossakin toisessa Euroopan maassa
- Opit uutta hauskalla tavalla!
- Saatat innostua uuden kielen opiskelusta
- Biletystä, aurinkoa, unohtumattomia kokemuksia
